A fine Tito Rodriguez, one that`s got 2 great descarga tracks! The album features the cuts “Descarga Cachao” and “Descarga Malanga” – both of which are hard-hitting, fiercely-jamming tunes that really push past the usual Latin fluff of Tito`s albums. The tracks start with heavy percussion, feature lots of jazzy solo work, and feel a lot more like tracks you`d find on classic Alegre or Tico sessions from the time – not Tito`s United Artists records!
