Formed in the mid-1960s by pianist César Camargo Mariano, bassist Humberto Clayber, and drummer Airto Moreira, Sambalanço Trio made a lasting mark in just two short years. Their energetic blend of samba and jazz reshaped the Brazilian scene, adding rhythmic intensity and improvisational freshness to the cool bossa nova style of the time. This limited edition 180-gram vinyl reissue presents their self-titled debut album in full, expanded with six bonus tracks, a collection that remains a cornerstone of samba-jazz innovation.
