Muzik Sin Barera is a joint project of two of the most striking representatives of Curaçao music: singer, lyricist and composer Gilbert `Dibo` Doran and pianist, composer and arranger Randal Corsen.
Randal and Dibo come from different musical worlds: Randal made name as a pianist, composer and arranger in the Dutch jazz and Latin scene; Dibo is one of the most successful young singer-songwriters from Antillean soil, he also made name in the Dutch Urban scene.
Their new CD `Muzik sin Barera` (Music without Barriers) is characterized by a fusion of Curaçao rhythms with jazz, Latin, classical, Urban and pop, with a special place for the local language Papiamentu.
