Formed in the late 60`s by Arnaldo Baptista, Sergio Dias and Rita Lee. They were heavily influenced by British rock bands like the Beatles, and were the first to introduce the psychedelic rock sound to Brazil. Os Mutantes (“The Mutants”) are an influential Brazilian psychedelic rock band that were linked with the Tropicália movement of the late 1960s.
