The bank Banco Popular`s annual holiday television special reached its 19th year in 2011 and turned its attention to Puerto Rican composer Catalino Curet Alonso, or as his friends and fans call him, "Tite." Five of the tracks on this soundtrack are new, but the rest come right from the special, with salsa, bomba, bolero, folk, and pop artists representing how widely influential the composer remains. While you shouldn`t expect much of the man`s political material to be included, the proceeds do go to the Banco Popular Foundation for Youth Arts, so Tite`s social awareness is still well represented.
