Mon Laferte is an extremely interesting Chilean singer (she is the top rated artist from that country on Spotify) although she has been based in Mexico since 2007. She first surfaced as a heavy rock singer on a Chilean talent show and has transformed from album to album to her latest Seis which is heavily influenced by music from her adopted country and includes rancheras, mariachis, boleros, bandas and corridos.
