Lat-Teens were a very young group from Spanish Harlem, who jammed in the best open-ended style of the time! As their name might imply, the group was mostly made up of kids – and as such, they had kind of a freewheeling approach to their work that made for some pretty great records. This album`s their second, and it`s steeped in a strong sense of the boogaloo, complete with the best Cotique Records elements like drug references, soulful vocals, silly lyrics, and other nice touches
