A fantastic debut from Orchestra Dicupe – a tight, hard-driving Latin combo led by brothers Freddy and Edil – both of whom play trumpet in the group! There`s loads of heavy percussion on the set – and although most tunes have vocals, there`s also plenty of strong breakdowns and instrumental solos – creating some strong descarga-like energy at times – and really giving the album a youthful spirit that represents that shift into salsa from the Latin Soul generation. Vocals are by Johnny Vasquez and Frank Javier Velez.
